Dun Fionn Thistle Pendant Necklace
Dun Fionn Thistle pendant necklace in sterling silver made on the Isle of Arran by Jess MacDonald Brass.
An earthy, tactile, Scottish bohemian necklace has a beautifully raw feel to it. This was made by taking an impression of a thistle collected by local photographer Kirstie Smith whilst out walking around Dun Fionn on the Isle of Arran.
A piece of nature captured in silver - for the earth goddess in you. This piece comes with a little card that explains a thistle's symbolism - bravery, devotion, endurance and strength, and of course - Scotland's national flower.
There is also a bracelet and earrings in this range.
Material: sterling silver
Dimensions: 16mm diameter
Chain: 18 inch
My jewellery is individually hand-crafted or made in small batch production which is hand-finished - this is reflected in the final finish of each piece. This means that it will not be the same as machine made or mass-produced jewellery. Instead, it gives each of my designs a special artisanal touch.
