Blà Bheinn, on the Isle of Skye is considered one of the most magnificent mountains in Britain.                An outlier of the main Cuillin Ridge,  Blà Bheinn is composed mainly of gabbro, a rock that’s excellent for scrambling and climbing. Its ascent is straightforward by Cuillin standards but the terrain does become rough. Mild scrambling, loose stones and scree gully are part of the charm.
