Blencathra Cufflinks
Blencathra 3D cufflinks in sterling silver made on the Isle of Arran by Jess MacDonald Brass.
The Iconic Summits collection captures real terrain in precious metal. Each piece is a three-dimensional aerial view of an actual landscape, created in sterling silver with the contours, ridgelines, and relief of the mountain exactly as it sits on the ground.
Once primarily known as Saddleback, the name Blencathra was popularised by Wainwright. Part of the Northern Fells, it has six separate fell tops, Blease Fell, Gategill Fell, Hallsfell, Atkinson Pike, Doddick Fell and Scales Fell. Wainwright detailed more routes to Blencathra's summit than any other mountain, from straightforward walks to the adrenaline of Sharp Edge and Halls Fell Ridge. Hallsfell Top 868m. Coordinates 54.63985° N, 3.05046° W.
A touchstone piece for hikers, Wainwright baggers and Lake District lovers. Made for people who know the ground they're wearing.

My jewellery is individually hand-crafted or made in small batch production which is hand-finished - this is reflected in the final finish of each piece. This means that it will not be the same as machine made or mass-produced jewellery. Instead, it gives each of my designs a special artisanal touch.
