The 'Ocean Caustics' Ring
The 'Ocean Caustics' ring made bespoke for you on the Isle of Arran by Jess MacDonald Brass
The natural phenomena known in the sea as refraction is when direct sunlight enters the sea, it bends and refracts due to the different densities of water. This bending creates beautiful, ever-changing patterns called 'caustics' on the sea floor. The interaction of sunlight with the moving water surface results in captivating & mesmerising patterns dancing across the sandy and rocky seabed, showcasing the fascinating behavior of light in nature.

My jewellery is individually hand-crafted or made in small batch production which is hand-finished - this is reflected in the final finish of each piece. This means that it will not be the same as machine made or mass-produced jewellery. Instead, it gives each of my designs a special artisanal touch.
