The Isis Talisman

Inspired by Isis, the revered ancient Egyptian goddess of magic, motherhood and healing, Sacred Empress is a talisman of devotion, protection and the enduring strength of love.

Isis was one of the most powerful and beloved goddesses of ancient Egypt. A guardian of life, a mother and a mistress of magic, she was celebrated for her wisdom, compassion and fierce determination to protect those she loved.

In Egyptian mythology, Isis searched for the scattered remains of her husband Osiris and, through her knowledge and magic, restored him to life. Her devotion became a powerful symbol of love in the face of loss, of perseverance through sorrow and the possibility of renewal.

Sacred Empress honours this remarkable union of tenderness and strength. A talisman to celebrate the women whose love has protected, guided or sustained us, or a personal reminder of our own capacity to endure, to care deeply and to find hope after difficult times. Isis reminds us that compassion is not weakness, and that some of our greatest strength comes from what we hold dear.

Made in sterling silver, the pendant features two protective wings reaching towards one another in an embrace. At their centre, a radiant sphere represents the life-giving sun, held within a crescent of horns recalling the sacred crown of Isis. Together, these elements symbolise protection, devotion and renewal.

My jewellery is individually hand-crafted or made in small batch production which is hand-finished - this is reflected in the final finish of each piece. This means that it will not be the same as machine made or mass-produced jewellery. Instead, it gives each of my designs a special artisanal touch.
