Jess MacDonald Brass
Dewdrops Bar Necklace
Dewdrop bar necklace in sterling silver made on the Isle of Arran by Jess MacDonald Brass.
Dew is small drops of water that form on the grass and other surfaces outdoors during the night.
Morning dew embodies purity and renewal and this symbolism presents itself across many cultures. Celtic folklore tells a tale of dewdrops left after each footstep of a fairys nocturnal dancing, while Greeks and Romans thought they were tears from the goddess of dawn, and Indigenous Americans saw it as source of life and fertility.

My jewellery is individually hand-crafted or made in small batch production which is hand-finished - this is reflected in the final finish of each piece. This means that it will not be the same as machine made or mass-produced jewellery. Instead, it gives each of my designs a special artisanal touch.
