The Isle of Coll, located west of Mull in the Inner Hebrides, is a peaceful, low-lying island renowned for its unspoilt beaches, rare machair habitats, and wide open landscapes. Coll is officially recognised as a Dark Sky Island, making it one of the best places in Scotland for stargazing.

Although Coll has no mountains, its rolling dunes, moorland and long stretches of coastline create a powerful sense of space. In summer, the machair bursts into life with orchids, clover and wildflowers found only in these Hebridean environments.

Coll also has deep historical roots, with ties to the Clan MacLean and the atmospheric Breacachadh Castle overlooking the bay. Its quiet roads, wildlife-rich shores, and expansive skies make Coll a favourite for those seeking nature, calm, and a true sense of wilderness.
