Buachaille Etive Mor Necklace

£135

Buachaille Etive Mòr necklace in sterling silver that has been made on the Isle of Arran by Jess MacDonald Brass.

‘The Buachaille’ is one of the best known and much loved of all the Munro peaks (its iconic summit, Stob Dearg, rising sharply above the glen). The epic mountain makes a striking appearance from the barren Rannoch Moor at the north of Glen Etive and the gateway to Glen Coe. A steep and rough ascent leads to a bouldery ridge with breathtaking views, followed by a descent that is equally steep and scrambly, with areas of loose rocky scree.

Standing before it, there’s a stillness that lingers long after you’ve looked away. The sharp, soaring peak captures awe and wonder, a reminder of something larger than yourself — a feeling to carry with you every day.

My jewellery is individually hand-crafted or made in small batch production which is hand-finished - this is reflected in the final finish of each piece. This means that it will not be the same as machine made or mass-produced jewellery. Instead, it gives each of my designs a special artisanal touch.
