Fluke (whale tail) Pendant Necklace
'Fluke' pendant necklace in sterling silver made on the Isle of Arran by Jess MacDonald Brass.
The whale tail also known as it's Fluke is used by this planets most enigmatic creatures for propulsion through the water. It's easy to see why the fluke or whale tail is used as a talisman in many cultures, not only for it's beautiful shape and form but also to remind the wearer of they're own strength and resilience.
A piece that symbolises the depth of our appreciation for the incredible mammals and our own personal strength.

My jewellery is individually hand-crafted or made in small batch production which is hand-finished - this is reflected in the final finish of each piece. This means that it will not be the same as machine made or mass-produced jewellery. Instead, it gives each of my designs a special artisanal touch.
