In the Inner Hebrides is the beautiful, long narrow island of Jura, known for its 3 soaring steep sided mountains, these conical shaped hills are famously known as the 'Paps of Jura'.   Jura is an island where the deer like to roam, out numbering the islands residentsand is its famous for its whisky and where George Orwell went to find peace to finish writing '1984' his most famous book.
