Mount Fuji, commonly called "Fuji-san" is the country's tallest peak at 3,776ms high, known for its extraordinary conical shape. It is considered one of Japan's 3 sacred mountains, making it a pilgrimage site for centuries, and popular for adventurers to hike to its summit.
