Leatherback Turtle Silver Necklace
A Leatherback Turtle silver pendant necklace made on the Isle of Arran.
Across many cultures, turtles symbolise longevity, wisdom, patience and quiet strength — their slow, steady movement representing resilience and a grounded way of moving through the world.
The leatherback is the largest of all sea turtles, known for its soft, flexible shell and remarkable ability to cross entire oceans. They can dive deeper than most marine animals and tolerate colder northern waters, which is why they’re the species most often sighted around the UK. Strong, ancient and unhurried, they carry a calm, purposeful presence wherever they roam.
This pendant is a tribute to these incredible ocean travellers — a reminder that sometimes the slowest journeys leave the deepest marks. A meaningful piece for anyone who feels connected to the sea, loves these gentle giants, or simply wants to carry a quiet symbol of resilience and memory..

My jewellery is individually hand-crafted or made in small batch production and hand-finished - this is reflected in the final finish of each piece. This means that it will not be the same as machine made or mass-produced jewellery. Instead, it gives each of my designs a special artisanal touch.
