The 'Stone' ring, bespoke made for you on the Isle of Arran by Jess MacDonald Brass.
The 'Stone' ring is created by carving, shaping and melting wax to texture each ring. I use this process to create the jagged, raw result you see here to reflect the surface of stone, giving it a somewhat 'brutalist' style.
In nature, stone plays a significant role in alot of the characterful landscapes we have around the world. From jagged, craggy mountains, to vast stoney beaches, to windy riverbeds & sheer cliffs. Stone not only contributes to beautiful scenic views, but they are habitats and protection for plants and animals.
Stone is even used by humans to create artistic sculptures, landscaping and building, because of its strength & natural beautiful
The price on this listing is for a handmade, one of a kind silver ring. If you would like to know more, it's best to email me and we can talk it through.
